How to create Add-On products

It's always a great idea to have a small section of "Add-On" products for your customers to add on at the tail end of their order. This is a super simple process that involves a little bit of backend management.

Adding an Add-On Product

  1. The first step to adding an add-on product is to make sure your store is enabled to offer add-on products. You will enable this feature by going to the Stores tab and click 'Edit Settings' for the store you would like to offer add-on products for.
  2. Next you will scroll to where it says 'Allow "Add-On" Products', check this off, and then click 'Save' at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Then you will head over to 'Products/Categories' inside of the same Store, scroll to the bottom of that page, and check off 'Allow "Add-On" products', and then click 'Save' at the bottom of the page.

  4. Finally, when you go to create a new product that you would like to be an Add-On product, you will click '"Add-On" in subscriptions', and then hit 'Save' when you're ready for the product to go live.
