How To Pause An Account For A Customer

On Bottle, we make customer management easy! If you'd like to pause or unpause a customer, read through this article.


How to pause (or unpause) an account for a customer:

  1. Go to your Bottle messenger.
  2. Search for the customer and click into your conversation with them.
  3. In the top right corner drop down, click "View Profile As..."

  4. At the top of the customer's profile, it lists all of their active subscriptions in a drop down box. Once you've selected the subscription you'd like to pause, click 'edit plan settings'.

  5. Scroll down until you see 'Pause Until'.
    --> The pause date works in relation to the cutoff day. If the pause date is before the cutoff day, then the customer will receive notifications for that week and delivery for that week. If the pause date is on or after the cutoff day, then the customer will not receive notifications or an order. 
  6. Put in a new pause date. Now the page will refresh and the customer will be paused until that time. 

  7. To unpause a plan, simply put a time in the past in this field.
