Change A Customer's Notification Preference

Sometimes your customers will want to receive notifications only to their phone, only to their email, or to both. In this article, we will show you how to edit those notification preferences for one specific customer.


Change a customer's notification preferences

  1. Find the customer's name on your Bottle messenger page.
  2. Once you are inside of the customer's conversation, click the '...' in the top right corner.

  3. Next, click 'View Profile As...'

  4. If the customer has a subscription with you all, that subscription will show at the top of the page. From here, you will click 'edit plan settings'.

  5. You will then scroll until see 'Notification Preferences'
  6. From here, you will click 'Text Message', 'Email', or 'Both SMS and Email'.


** If you'd like to setup both SMS and email notifications to all of your customers, simply contact us using either @BottleTeam from your Bottle messenger page or email our support desk at team@sendbottles.com. We will turn that setting on for you.
