Downloading Reports From The Data Downloads Tab
Bottle provides various reports that can be downloaded in the Data Downloads tab. This article outlines each of the reports and the information they provide.
What is the Data Downloads Tab?
The data downloads tab provides a number of reports for you to analyze and understand your business. You can set the time frame to download reports and have reports emailed to you. The User Download report provides a detailed summary of all users and their historical activity.
Downloading Reports from The Activity Tab:
- Select the report type you'd like to download (more details on each report below)
- Set a beginning and ending date for the data you'd like to download.
- Enter an email where you'd like to receive the report. By default, we will send the report to the admin email.
- Hit download
What types of reports can be downloaded from Data Downloads
- Transactions gives you an overall summary and also a transaction-by-transaction report of credit card payments, fees, refunds, shipping amounts, and taxes for orders paid for via credit card and also orders paid for offline or with account credit.
- Payouts provides a summary of payouts from Stripe deposited into your bank account.
- "Order Summaries" gives an order-by-order breakdown of order totals, tax and shipping amounts, as well as line item information for each order.
- Account Credits gives a breakdown of account credits, if they've been redeemed, the redemption amount and the amount remaining.
- "Products Sold" gives a high-level overview of all the different products sold during the period.
- "Discount Codes" gives information on discount codes used during the period.
- "Quickbooks .iif" gives a Quickbooks download in an .iif format as a single transaction for the entire period that lets you easily import the overall card volume, tax amounts, shipping amounts, taxable subtotals, and refunds during the period. You can specify the Quickbooks Accounts that each category should be correlated with.
- User Download gives historical data for all users in your account.
