What is Bottle Chat?
Bottle Chat is a messenger for 1:1 and 1:many texting between the business and its customers. Bottle Chat has many applications including providing customer support over text, sending automated messages to customers, and sending 1 to many, or blast, messages to a group of customers over text. Using Bottle Chat lets businesses build a loyal and connected customer base.
The Bottle Chat Dashboard on Desktop:
The main page of the merchant dashboard is the Bottle Chat messenger. Below is a screen shot of the messenger with details for each section.
- The conversation history: This is where your conversation history will live with a customer. You can scroll up to see past messages.
- The dialogue box: This is where you can type messages to respond back to a customer.
- Adding images, creating a basic invoice and sending files: You can add a file/image to send to customers or manually send an invoice using this box.
- Searching conversations: You can search for conversations using this box by typing in the name or phone number of the customer you are searching for.
- Make a call: You can make a call to a specific customer by pressing this button.
- Star a message: You can star/unstar a message to a customer by pressing this button.
- Mark a message as unread: You can mark a message as unread by pressing this button.

- To edit a customer/star a message: Click the 'Edit' button. From here, you can now edit this customer's contact information, name, or 'star' the conversation.
