Skipping A Cutoff Day/Week

There are times when you do not want to deliver meals for a specific cutoff day. Perhaps your kitchen is closing, or perhaps it is Thanksgiving Week. You have two main options as to how you can deal with skipping a cutoff day.

Option 1: You want everyone skipped, and you don't want to take any new orders in the meantime.

This is the easiest scenario. All you have to do is "pause" your plan or plans, and then also "hide" the plans so that people can't sign up and place an order.

To do this:

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Subscriptions
  2. Click "Edit" next to the plans you'd like to pause/hide
  3. Uncheck the "visible" box
  4. Check the "Paused" box
  5. Scroll to the bottom and click the blue "Save" button

Then, after the cutoff day passes, you'll go back in and make the plans unpaused and visible again.

Option 2: You want everyone skipped, but you want to take orders in the meantime for the following week.

This is similar to Option 1, except you want to take orders as they come in for the week after.

To do this:

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Subscriptions
  2. Click "Edit" next to the plans you'd like to pause/hide
  3. Check the "Paused" box
  4. Scroll down to the cutoff times
  5. In the "Cutoff Time" box, you'll want to hardcode the date to the next cutoff day you'll want to accept orders. So if you want to skip the orders for Tuesday, October 5th, then you'll want to change the language to be hardcoded for the following week, such as changing "Tuesday at 5pm" to "October 12th at 5pm"
  6. You'll want to do this for each cutoff day that you want to skip for a week

After the original cutoff time passes, you'll want to go in and change the language back from "October 12th at 5pm" to "Tuesday at 5pm
